Lucy Trew worked as a figure skater and aerial performer for 10 years before pursuing her other passion: science.
As the manufacturing science and technology apprentice at the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, she supports work that helps the development of cell and gene therapies. These therapies are a relatively new type of medicine that can offer life-changing treatments for a range of conditions, including some types of cancers and genetic disorders.
