I now use that trick in such an automatic way that I don’t even notice I am doing it. My practice re-wired my brain and now this is my number #1 go-to technique for overcoming my anxiety – I am so well practiced at this that it is a huge part of me maintaining my wellbeing and good mental health. Without it, I’d still be unable to function in the world.
