“And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk is took to blossom” – Anais Nin

Ever since I started my “recovery” from anxiety and depression, I’ve been craving the company of likeminded women. As the years have gone by, this need has only gotten more pronounced, and while I’ve found little pockets of wonderful community here and there, I’ve not found anything that quite fits.

I really wanted something that provided me with the space for creativity and healing. I wanted a quietly wild space, a genuine space, a transparent and safe space. Somewhere free from distractions, focused solely on respectful, loving exchanges. I wanted somewhere that would support and nurture gentle but profound explorations within.

A space that really embodied my values and made me feel seen and heard for who I am. A space that nourished those parts of me that society largely undervalues – the yin side; the introverted side; the seeds of my explorations; the messy chaos of the process of becoming; the beautiful uncertainty of the journey.

The life-long beautiful journey!

I wanted a space that would honour my journey as I walked (sometimes crawled) the meandering path home to myself. A space that would let me gently grow roots from the seeds I was planting within me. A space that would allow me to poke my head out of the darkness and sprout up from those seeds, in my own time. A space that would allow me to blossom.

But I couldn’t find that space.

So I’ve finally created it!

And now I offer it to you, and invite you to join this space as a founding member, so that we may journey home to ourselves, together.

I’ve called it Howl & Blossom, with inspiration taken from Clarissa Pinkola Estes’ book ‘Women Who Run with the Wolves’ (if you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend), and also Anais Nin’s poem at the top of this post.

I’ve filled it with some of the resources and wisdom I’ve acquired along the way. And I invite you to do the same!

I’ve wanted to gift this space to other women for such a long time. It’s an expression of love. A place to honour the divinity in each of us. A place to redefine ourselves, and discover our many faces and phases, with the Moon as our guide.

Each New Moon I record a video and/or jump on a live Zoom call. I present a topic/theme that we can all relate to, give my take on it, guide you in a meditation and visualisation, give you some journal prompts to help you journey even deeper into the topic for yourself. And then ask you to set an intention for the coming cycle.

These intentions are not the same as ‘goals’. There are no metrics or KPIs or harsh measurements. They’re merely an acknowledgement of how you intend the coming cycle to expand before you… we all know that life doesn’t always go to plan! So instead of planning and goal setting, we just get intentional with our thoughts and feelings, and trust the magic to happen.

Each Full Moon I record an audio meditation (or jump on a live Zoom call) for letting go and/or gratitude practice. There are more journaling prompts (because pen and paper are the real life magic wands that Hermione, Luna and Bellatrix wield – honestly they’re powerful) and it’s an opportunity for you to revisit your intentions and observe how they’ve been expanding.

You’re invited to share as much or as little of yourselves as you want to, when you want to.

Why have I done this online instead of in-person?

Well, I love in-person Circles, and I will undoubtedly start doing them too…

On the New Moon I often get my period, and I often just want to be by myself. So if I’m not feeling like gathering with a group on the day of an in-person Moon Circle, then I miss out for the entire month. I know I’m not the only one who feels like that sometimes, so I thought I’d put the content in a beautiful community space where you can access it whenever you feel called to do so!

You don’t have to do it on the day of the New Moon or the Full Moon. You can revisit it whenever you want to… And there are previous month’s content there for you to access immediately.

You can pick and choose what you want and need, based on how you feel.

You can read more about the community and sign up for your two week free trial here.

I’m also running a competition to win a year’s free membership, one pack of oracles cards (as pictured above) and a notebook (for all that journaling magic).

For a chance to win, just click the button below and enter your email address. Simples!

The competition closes on Saturday 12th October 2019.

On Sunday 13th October – the Full Moon – we’ll have our very first live Zoom call, where we’ll do a guided visualisation together and journal. You can find more details in the Howl & Blossom Community.

I’m so excited to see you there! This space is for you. We will howl and blossom together.
